Vet Tech Appreciation Week!
It’s VETERINARY TECHNICIAN APPRECIATION WEEK! And our VVH Vet Techs and Vet Assistants ROCK! They are vital to the functioning of our hospital and we appreciate their hard work every day, but especially this week! Vet Techs and Assistants help in office hours, perform lab tests, take x-rays, assist in surgery, administer treatments, take care of the hospitalized patients, prepare and dispense medications, and keep our hospital clean and organized, just to name a few of their jobs at VVH! Veterinary technicians are often the unsung heroes of your pets’ health care but in reality they do so much to help our Drs and patients each and every day! Welcome Dr. Mark!
We are so excited to welcome Dr. Mark Massaro to our veterinary team at Village Vet! Dr. Mark is the younger of the two sons of Dr. Janet Lipman and Dr. James Massaro and he is thrilled to be finally joining the rest of the family at VVH! Dr. Mark Massaro!
It is with tremendous pride and excitement that we announce the addition of the newest Dr. Massaro to our family- Dr. Mark Massaro! Dr. Mark will be starting a 1 year small animal internship at CARES (Center for Animal Referral and Emergency Services) in PA next month, after which he will be joining the family at VVH!! Congrats Dr. Mark!

VVH + Freedom Barks!
Village Vet is proud to be the official sponsor of the Squirrel Field at Freedom Barks Dog Park! Our new sign has been unveiled and we are excited to show our support for the local dog owner community. This park is just one of the many fantastic features of our Medford community that makes this town so very special!

One Year Anniversary!
We are thrilled to be celebrating Dr. Andrew Massaro's one year anniversary at VVH! And what a terrific year it has been! As most of you know, VVH did some remodeling of our space and equipment since Dr. Andrew joined us last year, and he is making great use of it. We also wish to thank all of our clients for welcoming the newest Dr. Massaro to VVH and for trusting him with your precious furry family members over this past year!

Future Dr. Mark Massaro on RAVS!
This summer Drs. Lipman and Massaro's youngest son Mark (a current vet student) completed a Humane Society trip ("RAVS") to Native American Reservations in North and South Dakota. He and a team of volunteers provided free care for over 1,000 animals, including vaccines, spays, neuters, porcupine quill removals, & more! These annual trips are often the only veterinary care that these animals receive. We are so proud of Mark and his team for their great work!

Open House!
Please join us for our very first OPEN HOUSE! Meet our vets and staff, tour our newly renovated hospital, have a snack, and take home some awesome gifts to your pets! We also have some fun activities planned for the kids and demos for inquisitive minds of all ages. Please share, the more the merrier! We are looking forward to seeing you there!

New Procedure Room!
We are proud to unveil our newly remodeled procedure room equipped with some of the latest veterinary technologies! It houses our new ultrasound machine and state-of-the-art anesthesia machine with an advanced monitoring system. Also new is a full set of dental equipment, including a dedicated dental table, high powered tools, and digital dental x-rays.

Congratulations to the newest Dr. Massaro! Dr. Lipman and Dr. Massaro's eldest son Andrew just graduated from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine! Next year he will be entering a one-year rotating internship at Ordadell Animal Hospital in Paramus, NJ. Welcome to the profession Andrew Massaro, DVM!
